Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Presnt, a voice-powered AI presentation platform operated by Presnt (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Presnt. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@presnt.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may only create one account per person. Creating accounts on behalf of others without their consent is prohibited.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Presnt only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any component of the Service
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any malicious code
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage our reputation or that of our users

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

3. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You Own Your Content

You retain full ownership of all presentations, slides, documents, and other content you create or upload to Presnt (“User Content”). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

License to Us

By uploading content to Presnt, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Our Intellectual Property

The Presnt name, logo, application code, design, and AI models are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our IP without our express written permission.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

4. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not guarantee that Presnt will be available 100% of the time. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Presnt currently offers a free tier. If we introduce paid plans in the future, pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase. We will provide reasonable notice before any pricing changes take effect.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Voice recognition accuracy depends on your device, microphone, environment, and accent. We do not guarantee any specific level of accuracy for voice navigation features.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Presnt and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Presnt and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

By You

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Account deletion will remove your personal data within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you, except where prohibited by law or where doing so could cause harm.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Sections 3 (Intellectual Property), 6 (Disclaimer), 7 (Limitation of Liability), 8 (Indemnification), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
